U.S. Pond Hockey Championships

Youth Hockey Night on the Pond – brought to you by DynaMoo®, The Mobile Milk™ for Quick Recovery.

Ask any adult hockey player, and they’ll tell you that their skills and best memories have the same birthplace — pond hockey. That’s why this year, DynaMoo has teamed up with the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships to play host to the nation’s largest youth hockey pick-up event.

This year, we've invited dozens of area youth hockey teams to take advantage of Thursday evening "youth ice-time" on a USPHC rink to conduct friendly pick-up games amongst their teammates (under the lights!) on frozen Lake Nokomis.

This event will give kids a chance to experience hockey purity — no referees, no rigid rules and competition amongst friends and teammates.

Youth players and their families will also have the opportunity to warm up before and after their games in the USPHC warming tent while enjoying samples of DynaMoo and all of the festivities of U.S. Pond Hockey Championship's "opening night."

Register your youth hockey team

• Rinks for this event can be used for scrimmages, pick-up games, practice, or just having fun passing the puck on the pond.
• The rink size will be 75 ft. x 125 ft. so we recommend no more than 14 players on the ice at once.
• Rink time will last for 60 minutes.
• We ask players and/or coaches to shovel the ice for the next round or preparation for flooding.
• Official pond hockey goals will be on the rinks and can be used during play.
• In order to play in DynaMoo Night on the Pond we require a parent/guardian signed waiver for each player.

After DynaMoo Night on the Pond, we invite you and your family back to Lake Nokomis over the weekend to watch the incredible pond hockey action at the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships, skate on one of the Family Skating Rinks and be a part of the nation's largest pond hockey celebration. There is plenty of hockey to see and fun to have all weekend long. Admission and parking is always free!

• Check in Location: Inside the warming tent, next to general player check-in
• Amenities: Stop by the DynaMoo tournament tent to sample DynaMoo, and spin to win terrific hockey prizes! Joe Senser's will also have hot food and hot/cold drinks available for purchase, and the Official USPHC Apparel Shop will be open.
