U.S. Pond Hockey Championships

Greetings pond hockey fanatics!

Today as last minute preparations are falling into place, I’m awestruck to think that 1,693 players from 40 states (and 5 countries!) are converging in Minneapolis to play on Lake Nokomis this weekend! My team and I are truly honored you all chose to play in this year’s 7th annual U.S. Pond Hockey Championships.

I can’t wait to have a beer with you all in the tent tonight. Remember that check-in is from 5-9 pm. Late check-in is tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday from 7-8:30 am.

We've made one small change to the Rink Rat Division: we have increased the playoff field from 4 teams to 8 teams to increase the number of 3 win teams that will advance on Sunday!

Remember to check your game schedules again and pay close attention to your rink numbers and game times.

Remember, we welcome any and all to the pond. Admission and parking is free. Bring everyone you know to enjoy hockey as nature intended!
