DinoMights Thank You
We just received a great letter from Scott Harman, Executive Director of DinoMights. Last year we conducted a 50/50 raffle during the 2012 U.S. Pond Hockey Championships to assist the DinoMights and address their need for a new vehicle. Thank you to all who participated in the raffle! Your generosity has made a huge impact:
Dear Friends at the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships,
I wanted to write and thank you again for supporting DinoMights and our efforts at raising funds for a new van. We were able to purchase the new vehicle this Wednesday. Sure enough it was transporting kids to morning practice as early as Thursday morning.
This new vehicle will make what we do safer and easier for our students and staff. The van will be used to transport students to hockey and tutoring. It has up to date safety features to ensure that all students arrive at the rink or class in one piece.
The raffle proceeds from last year's Pond Hockey Event were applied to this campaign. We just want to let everyone know how thankful we are AND we want to let you know that your support makes a tangible difference in the lives of DinoMights students. We can't wait for this year's event! We believe that your support is ultimately raising up Homegrown Leaders in the Phillips, Powderhorn and Central neighborhoods of Minneapolis.
