We are excited to announce that we have commissioned internationally renowned printmaking artist Chris Speakman to create the first annual official limited edition USPHC print. Each print is HAND MADE, signed by the artist, editioned, and dated. All prints are printed on a quality 100% cotton paper, archival & acid free. All players must check in individually Thursday night between 5-9 p.m. in the tent. Come hang out, have a few beers and a bite to eat with the Pond Crew! Want to save time? You may be curious to know about ice thickness. A reading taken yesterday shows that we have 17 big, fat, beautiful inches of ice on Lake Nokomis. Oh Lake Nokomis, how I love thee and thine ice. We’re still looking for helping hands to get the show on the road (or as we say, to get the ice on the pond). Volunteers are needed for everything from door greeters to score runners and ice repair. Also, with more than 500 games in 3 days we need referees. Referees will be paid $10 per game and we provide training.

For all of those non-skaters who are looking for an opportunity to participate in this year's event, we've created the Timberland Boot Hockey Tournament! Boot hockey games are scheduled for the evenings of January 21-22, 2011, with championship games being played during the morning and afternoon of Sunday, January 23rd. Get your friends together and come join us for the "evening session" on Lake Nokomis.
