Hope you and yours are enjoying a bright and shiny new year full of lots of good thing... especially ample amounts of pond hockey.

Folks, the pucks drop in only two weeks!

Schedule of Events

We've put together a preliminary event schedule highlighting all of the great things that will be happening throughout the weekend. Click here to view the 2011 Schedule of Events for the weekend.

2011 USPHC Limited Edition Prints and T-shirts For Sale

We are excited to announce that we have commissioned internationally renowned printmaking artist Chris Speakman to create the first annual official limited edition USPHC print. Each print is HAND MADE, signed by the artist, editioned, and dated. All prints are printed on a quality 100% cotton paper, archival & acid free. Only 400 prints of this year's artwork have been produced. Long sleeve T-shirts featuring the artwork are also available for purchase. Click here to place your order before they sell out!

Player Waivers and Check-in

All players must check in individually Thursday night between 5-9 p.m. in the tent. Come hang out, have a few beers and a bite to eat with the Pond Crew! Want to save time? Bring your signed waivers to the check-in table with your photo ID and you’ll be on the pond faster than you can say, "Cal Clutterbuck." Click here to download the Player Waivers PDF.

Roster Deadline Extended

We've also extended the deadline to make updates and changes to your roster. The extended deadline is Sunday, January 9th, 2011 at 11:59 PM (CST - Lake Nokomis Time). Click here for detailed instructions.

Ice/Rink Updates

You may be curious to know about ice thickness. A reading taken yesterday shows that we have 17 big, fat, beautiful inches of ice on Lake Nokomis. Oh Lake Nokomis, how I love thee and thine ice. For behind the scenes coverage of the 2011 USPHC point your trusty browser to the "Nokomis - LIVE" page!

For more updates, follow along on Facebook and Twitter... and for those of you "advanced tweeters," it's worth mentioning that the official hash tag for this year's event is: #USPHC

Refs and Volunteers

We’re still looking for helping hands to get the show on the road (or as we say, to get the ice on the pond). Volunteers are needed for everything from door greeters to score runners and ice repair. Also, with more than 500 games in 3 days we need referees. Referees will be paid $10 per game and we provide training.

If you can pitch in, click here to sign up to be a USPHC volunteer. Muchas gracias!

Timberland Boot Hockey Tournament

For all of those non-skaters who are looking for an opportunity to participate in this year's event, we've created the Timberland Boot Hockey Tournament! Boot hockey games are scheduled for the evenings of January 21-22, 2011, with championship games being played during the morning and afternoon of Sunday, January 23rd. Get your friends together and come join us for the "evening session" on Lake Nokomis.
