Policies

Administrative Policies

1. Team entries will not be processed without full payment.

2. All participants will be required to sign two waivers, provide proof of USA Hockey membership and photo ID (proof of age) upon registration. Any player in violation of the minimum age requirement (21 years old in the Open or Rink Rat Divisions; 40 years old in the 40+ Division; 50 years old in the 50+ Division) will forfeit their place in the tournament. Any team playing with an underage or unregistered player will be disqualified from the tournament and will not receive a refund. Your age will be determined as of January 16th, 2015.

3. A player will only be allowed to play for one team in the tournament.

4. The organizing committee reserves the right to add or delete rules; all teams will be informed of changes prior to the start of the tournament.

5. The organizing committee reserves the right to prohibit any player or team from participating if they are deemed to cause safety concerns.

Team and Roster Modification Instructions

  1. Login to the USPHC website with the account you used to register your team: http://www.uspondhockey.com/account/login
  2. After you have successfully logged in, click on your account username in the upper right of the page (just above the "USPHC SITE SEARCH")
  3. Select "Registrations" from the drop-down menu.
  4. Click "2015 U.S. Pond Hockey Championships" entry.
  5. Click the "Edit" link to modify your Team or Player Information.

Updates and changes to your roster may be made online until Friday, January 9th, 2015 at 11:59 PM (CST - Lake Nokomis Time).

Refund Policy

Teams wishing to pull out of the tournament field prior to December 1, 2014 will receive one-third of the registration fee back. Teams pulling out after December 1, 2014 will not receive a registration fee refund.

If the event is canceled due to weather or unsafe ice conditions ten days, or more, prior to the tournament, teams will receive a refund of half (50%) of the registration fee along with a guaranteed team spot for the 2016 USPHC. If the event is canceled less than ten days prior to the tournament, teams will receive a guaranteed team spot for the 2016 USPHC, however no refunds will be given.

Event Site Regulations

  1. No outside food or beverage is allowed on the USPHC site.
  2. Tobacco products are not allowed on the USPHC site.
  3. Please be courteous to the neighborhood: no littering or trespassing.
  4. No animals allowed on site.
  5. Lost and Found will be located at the Information Booth located inside the Warming House.
  6. Medical Personnel will be on site during the duration of tournament play. A USPHC Volunteer will assist in contacting Medical Personnel, if the situation warrants.
  7. Dress appropriately for rapidly changing weather conditions and a frosty arctic breeze from the north.
  8. Players may dress in the Boot Hut. This area will be monitored however USPHC is not responsible for lost or stolen goods. Women may change in the women’s locker room located in the Boot Hut.
