


Sponsorship Opportunities for the 2008 U.S Pond Hockey Championships are now available. Every sponsor receives first right of refusal for a 2008 USPHC team if a commitment is made by September 1, 2007.
Presenting Sponsor ($50,000)
The exclusive presenting sponsorship of the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships features
"presented by" naming rights (2008 U.S. Pond Hockey Championships presented by_________)
and naming rights to the championship hockey rink. The presenting sponsor will be featured on
the www.uspondhockey.com homepage and in all U.S. Pond Hockey media materials. The
presenting sponsor will be prominently included the first-ever 30-minute USPHC highlight
program. The presenting sponsor will have a four-color ad placed in the event program and will
receive exclusive radio mentions on the local and regional Clear Channel radio network as well
as premier logo placement in all print ads.
Warming House Sponsor ($35,000)
The exclusive sponsorship of the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships giant warming house
features naming rights and product placement in the warming house. Home to concessions, the
beer garden, registration, merchandise sales, tournament standings boards and live
entertainment, the warming house is the center of all off-ice activities at the U.S. Pond Hockey
Championships.
Family Skating Rink Sponsor ($15,000)
The exclusive sponsorship of the high-traffic family skating rink is a unique opportunity to
feature your sponsor logo surrounding the rink for all to see. Families, kids and players can't
miss the family skating rink adorned with your sponsor logo.
Youth Pond Hockey Sponsor ($10,000)
Due to popular demand, a youth pond hockey will take place in conjunction with
the 2008 U.S. Pond Hockey Championships to allow children/young adults the
opportunity to play hockey the way nature intended. This youth pond hockey
sponsor will feature naming rights (2008 U.S. Pond Hockey Championships Youth
Pond Hockey presented by ______).
The Locker Room ($20,000)
The exclusive sponsorship of the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships locker room features naming
rights and product placement in the locker room. This much-needed addition to the 2008
tournament features a large tent (complete with benches) connected to the warming house where
players will dress for games, store their gear and talk smack about their opponents (come on, this
is hockey).
Gold Box Sponsor ($20,000)
This exclusive 2008 U.S. Pond Hockey Championship sponsorship places your company's logo
right down on the ice and into the action. 50 unique, wooden, pond hockey goal boxes (2 goals on
each of the 25 rinks) will feature decals of your design.
Bench Sponsor ($20,000)
New this year will be player benches on the sidelines of each of the 25 rinks. Be the first exclusive
sponsor and owner of 50 official USPHC benches for players to use before and after games, and
during line changes and intermission.
Referee Sponsor ($20,000)
By popular demand, trained referees will be outfitted with a bib or vest displaying your
company's logo. Talk about moving billboards! Your logo will be seen worn by referees in
hundreds of official U.S. Pond Hockey Championship games. Pond hockey players will be
grateful to this sponsor for providing much-needed referees.
Puck Sponsor ($15,000)
The U.S. Pond Hockey Championships official game puck sponsor receives an unusual
opportunity to present their brand in a unique and collectible way. The exclusive game puck
sponsor will have their logo featured on all U.S. Pond Hockey Championships tournament
pucks—the most highly sought after piece of pond hockey equipment.
Coliseum Sponsor ($15,000)
Sponsorship of a U.S. Pond Hockey Championships bank of six tournament rinks is a great way
to make a visual impact on the ice. Custom dasher boards featuring your company's logo will
serve as the backdrop for official U.S. Pond Hockey Championships tournament games.
Viewing Deck Sponsor ($10,000)
Sitting high above the ice surface, the viewing deck, located just outside the warming house,
provides a spectacular view of the entire lake and all 25 tournament rinks. The viewing deck will
be adorned by a large banner featuring your company's logo. It has become a favorite spot of
many players and fans to relax and view the pond hockey action. Minnesotans love to dine and
drink al fresco - no matter the season. Tables and chairs will allow people to relax, and if the sun
shines, the decks heats up nicely.
Volunteer Tent Sponsor ($10,000)
Sponsorship of a U.S. Pond Hockey Championships bank of six tournament rinks is a great way
to make a visual impact on the ice. Custom dasher boards featuring your company's logo will
serve as the backdrop for official U.S. Pond Hockey Championships tournament games.
Boot Hut Sponsor ($10,000)
Just steps away from the warming tent there is a permanent park structure that serves as the boot
hut, where players lace up and prepare for their next game. The general public and those that use
the family skating rink also utilize this facility, which includes restrooms. The official sponsor of
the boot hut will have its company logo on a banner placed on the exterior of the boot hut.
Stage Sponsor ($10,000)
The stage, located within the warming house, serves as the location for the opening and closing
ceremonies, and daily announcements. This exclusive sponsorship will put your company right
in the middle of the action as a banner with your company's logo will be hung on the stage.
First Aid Booth Sponsor ($10,000)
We all know pond hockey is a good clean sport, however accidents (and sticks to the eye)
happen. Therefore, medical staff to support the tournament is an integral part of the event. The
official sponsor of the first aid booth, located within the warming house, will have its company
logo featured on a banner in the first aid area. The first aid booth sponsor will have one of the
few opportunities to connect with players and spectators within the warming house.
Referee Station Sponsor ($10,000)
Even refs need a break. The referee station will be a tent/shelter located on the ice between the
four coliseums of rinks where referees can warm up and relax between games. A banner with
your company's logo will adorn the exterior of the tent. During the cold days of pond hockey
play, our hundreds of referees will be thankful for this sponsor's support!
Clock Sponsor ($10,000)
All games are governed by the clock. The sponsor of the large, centrally located official U.S. Pond
Hockey Championship clock will have their logo prominently displayed on the clock, for
thousands of players and spectators to view as they count down to victory.
Tournament Standings Board Sponsor ($5,000)
The tournament standings boards are one of the main attractions in the warming house. Every
player and most fans will refer to and study the game/standings board to find out when and
where they play, and how their team is competing in the tournament. Your company's logo will
be displayed prominently on the boards.
Water Sponsor ($5,000)
Even hockey players cannot survive this tournament on beer alone. As the water sponsor, your
company would provide water coolers, or bottles of water for players. Your company's logo
would be placed on a banner above the water coolers, or branded on individual water bottles.
Parking Lot Sponsor ($5,000)
The official parking lot sponsor will have its company logo placed on signs throughout parking
areas designated for players and spectators. Parking lot attendants could wear your company's
logo on a vest.
Tournament Rink Sponsor ($2,000)
Sponsorship of a U.S. Pond Hockey Championships tournament rink is a great way to feature
your company as close to the action as possible. Custom dasher boards featuring your company's
logo will serve as the backdrop for official U.S. Pond Hockey Championships tournament games.
