SportsEngine U.S. Pond Hockey Championships Bender Division

Bender Division

(Compare to Squirt B league)

In Minnesota, to gauge someone's hockey skills, we ask a simple question... "did you play varsity in high school?". Well, if your answer is "yes" then you're not a Bender. In fact, if you bought skates before your first case of beer, you're not a Bender.

The Bender Division is for the beautiful late bloomers of the Pond. Boys and girls who got in to hockey long after the glory days of high school were gone. Backward skating is a challenge, but having fun on the pond is not. Each team is guaranteed four games.

The Bender Division is a non-competitive division. Official scores will not be recorded and there is no playoff.
