Greetings pond hockey fanatics!

Great news!... the ice is in absolutely AMAZING shape and the weather forecast is calling for perfect outdoor hockey temperatures.

Today, as last minute preparations are falling into place, I’m awestruck to think that 1,466 players from 34 states are converging in Minneapolis to play on Lake Nokomis this weekend! My team and I are truly honored you all chose to play in this year’s U.S. Pond Hockey Championships.

I can’t wait to have a beer with you all in the tent tonight. Remember that check-in is from 5-9 pm. Late check-in is tomorrow from 7-8:30 am.

Remember to check your game schedules again, since "Intern Dave" has made some small changes. Pay close attention to your rink numbers and game times.

Remember, we welcome any and all to the pond. Admission and parking is free. Bring everyone you know to enjoy hockey as nature intended!
