Every Tuesday afternoon, you can find the staff of TST Media at Logan Park. They pick up sandwiches, head down to the outdoor rink, and spend an hour or two playing shinny in the weak winter sunshine before they head back to the office. It’s fitting, really, once you get to know them.

Justin Kaufenberg and Carson Kipfer aren’t your average twenty-somethings. They met while attending the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and became fast friends, bonding over a shared love of hockey. Fast forward six years and the duo now run TST Media, the Minnesota-based company powering youth hockey and other sports associations’ website services, as well as providing Minnesota High School Hockey with real time scoring updates, stats, news and features. I sat down with Carson Kipfer to find out more about the company.
